El Delfin Verde really is a first class park with an outstanding range of facilities. Ideally positioned alongside a magnificent sandy beach that stretches for miles, it is highly popular with sun seekers. The park itself is large and modern, with several bars and restaurants and a wide range of sporting activities, as well as dances, discos and 'fiestas' for all the family in high season. The park's centrepiece is the fabulous dolphin-shaped swimming complex, which includes one of the largest fresh water pools on the Costa Brava. You'll be glad of a cooling dip too, as even the pitches enjoy hours of glorious sunshine, ideal for the serious sun-worshipper. Out and about, you will find Figueres with its Dali museum just an hour away.

The pool complex is a real showpiece and there are all sorts of sports to enjoy, as well as a wide range of activities organised for children by the 'Cypsy Club'. Most of the many amenities are open throughout the season, including a restaurant and relaxing terrace bar, which overlooks one of the children's play-areas. There is also a weekly disco in low season, with bands and disco nights in peak season, which are always incredibly popular. A hands-on management style ensures immaculate washing facilities and an orderly park; however the park remains relaxed and friendly. Beyond the park itself are miles and miles of unspoilt countryside and a short drive takes you to the small town of Playa de Pals, where there is a long, sandy beach and small select cafes.

Camping Internacional de Calonge is set on a hillside overlooking the sweeping bay of Palamos. This is a well run and lively site, with modern facilities and beautiful beach on the doorstep. The pitches are located on terraces at the top of the site, separated by small shrubs and with some shade from the mature trees. In high season, young children will love the tractor train that takes you to the pitches from the bottom of the site. There is plenty going on to keep the whole family amused, with activities and evening entertainment most days in high season. The pool complex, with two full sized pools and a separate children's pool, is surrounded by an extensive terrace. Unwind with a cooling drink from the adjacent bar, and enjoy the superb views of the coast.
