This park offers a well equipped pool complex with an indoor and heated outdoor pool; jacuzzi; 2 waterslides and small slides for the little ones. If that is not enough there are multiple playgrounds with trampolines and go-karts; mini golf; tennis and table tennis and also archery (open from 1st May). The restaurant offers meals for those days when you do not want to cook or alternatively try the pizzeria. On site is a supermarket and separate bakery offering freshly baked bread daily. There is a weekly coach excursion to Disneyland Resort Paris, but it is about an hour's drive if you prefer to go in your own time. Compiegne is 15 miles away and Soissons is 11 miles; the sleepy village of Pierrefonds with a fairytale castle is only 9 miles away.

This park has a great location, being easy to reach from Calais or Paris. Situated within walking distance of Vic-sur-Aisne, this attractive park has is ideal for children with a special parkland play area, 3 pools (one of which is under cover). These are overlooked by the terrace bar and restaurant, which are attractively housed in rustic farm buildings. You can hire pedalos and canoes on the small campsite lake. There are also two lakes available, one for swimming, the other for fishing. On site there is also a beauty therapy and gym centre where you can take advantage of the services of qualified professionals. The forests make for delightful walking and you can also enjoy a round of golf at the nearby course. Paris is just a short drive, and Disneyland Resort Paris is only 90 km away.
La Bien Assise at Guines, Picardy
A popular stopover on the way south, La Bien Assise however has much to offer for a longer stay. Chateau de Drancourt at St Valery, Picardy
Being situated just three miles from St Valery and amidst the lush meadows of a private chateau; this Castels site has lovely spacious parklands. The owners have created a family atmosphere with some excellent facilities situated around the chateau include swimming pools surrounded by a sun terrace. Children will love the play areas and the three pools, one of which is covered, while the golf range is popular with absolutely everyone. For the active there are tennis, mountain bike hire and a golf driving range. The restaurant and cosy lounge bar are perfect places to spend the evening. There are many wide, sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline.
Domaine-de Chalain at Lac de Chalain, Jura
There is a superb pool complex at Domaine de Chalain, with outdoor and indoor pools, waterslides (6yrs+ only), waterfalls, a sauna, rapids and a jacuzzi. There is also an excellent range of sporting facilities, complemented by a first rate animation programme in high season. Lakeside, you will find all manner of water sports, hire a pedalo or canoe, or enjoy a cooling swim, before soaking up the sun on the shore. Based in the north west of Paris, Camping International is close to a local train station, just a twenty minute journey to the city centre and a direct journey to Disneyland Resort Paris. What's more Versailles is only 20 minutes away by car. This site is all about its location and as a result the facilities are quite basic but do include a shop and bar. The local town of Maisons Laffitte is walking distance and there you will find some good restaurants, a supermarket and local shops. Barges and trains can be heard on-site.
