La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
This park is defiantly for you if you enjoy activities as there is so much to do there will be little time for sitting and relaxing. There are however 2 bars and a restaurant as well as plenty of space to sit around the pool if you want a break from all the excitement. The children have a play area; club with organised activities and even their own disco. Park run sports tournaments; basketball; badminton; climbing wall and archery will give the older children something to think about and a 16+ disco just for good measure. There are family discos during July and August. Sightseeing has not been left from the list of things connected with this busy park with Cannes only 16 miles; St Tropez 22 miles and Nice 40 miles.
Le Ranc Davaine at St Alban, Ardeche
At St. Alban there are two inviting swimming pools and a children's pool, with a covered pool complex, as well as tennis and mini-golf, plus activities like archery and horse riding in high season. Canoeing on the lovely River Chassezac close by is an added bonus. And at the end of the day, you can also relax over a drink in the pleasant bar. St. Alban is a lightly shaded park that enjoys a stunning setting and offers plenty to do for even the most active of families. The park becomes lively in high season too, with a full programme of entertainment that includes cabarets and a disco. Out and about, you will find Barjac and Balazuc well worth a visit.
Camping le Bois de Valmarie at Argeles, Languedoc
Camping le Bois de Valmarie is a relaxed campsite, unwind here with a refreshing drink from the snack bar, while the children have hours of fun whizzing down the water chutes in the three lagoon style pools linked by waterfalls. The terraced emplacements rise up the hillside towards the pool, from where there are outstanding views over the bay of Argeles. At the bottom of the site, surrounded by colourful flower beds, you will find the superb restaurant. Sample a delicious fresh fish dish from the extensive menu, and after dinner relax on the bar terrace with a refreshing glass of local wine.
Douce Quietude at St Raphael, Cote d'Azur
Just 5km away are lovely sandy beaches, some of the best along the Mediterranean coastline, Camping Douce Quietude is a wonderful family run site near the lively resort of St Raphael. Whilst quieter and more peaceful during low season, the site becomes livelier in July and August when entertainment and discos are arranged for the whole family. Spend your days relaxing at the attractive campsite swimming pool, where the children will enjoy the waterchute.
Dunes et Soleil at Marseillan-Plage, Languedoc
In the sunny South of France, Dunes et Soleil's beachside location makes it a highly popular holiday park. The golden, sandy beach which can be directly accessed from the Park is perfect for lazy sunbathing and/or swimming in the sea. With the beach so close the park does not have a swimming pool but it does have a splash and paddling pool to keep younger children entertained. Les Tours is an attractive park with a high standard of facilities and a great swimming pool complex and 'lazy river'. With good sized pitches laid out on a series of terraces and overlooking the gorgeous Lac de la Selves, its a lovely spot for boating and swimming. Beyond Les Tours itself, you will find that you are superbly placed between the Auvergne and the Lot Valley. The enchanting town of Espalion is just 32km south, with its 13th century red sandstone bridge and charmingly small riverside chateau making it well worth a visit.
Serignan Plage at Serignan Plage, Languedoc
Le Serignan Plage has great facilities for a family holiday including a gigantic outdoor lagoon pool, complete with waterslides and shallow pools for the little ones. For those looking for a relaxing treat the new water spa fitness centre, which is free for our customers, offers a unique spa experience, with its hydro massage whirlpool and underwater massage path. And for those who wish to take an early or late summer holiday there is a small indoor pool. Parc St James Oasis at Purget sur Argens, Riviera
A large, modern parc, Parc St James Oasis is situated between the Maures and Esterel hills, at the heart of 42 hectares of woodland. Yelloh Village la Petite Camargue at Aigues-Mortes, Languedoc
While the site is quiet in low season, this is a lively site in July and August that makes a great location for a family holiday. There are excellent facilities for the whole family here, including a large swimming pool (complete with shallow area for toddlers), plus a range of activities, including horse riding, bike hire and tennis. The pitches are partially shaded by tall trees, relax here with a good book, or enjoy a cooling drink at the bar terrace which overlooks the pool. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant before watching the organised entertainment. Teenagers especially will enjoy the nightly disco.
La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Close to the Esterel forest, la Baume has an excellent range of facilities which makes it one of the most popular parks on the French Riviera. This large, lively park has a Californian-style pool complex that includes a covered pool and tropical palm tree islands. There is also a completely separate and beautifully designed lagoon pool with still more slides, providing wonderful facilities for all. The park's first class facilities also include two bars, restaurant and tennis courts, play area, take-away and fitness room. There are plenty of lovely beaches nearby and come the evening you can choose between live entertainment or dancing the night away in the park's own disco. It really is a site to suit everyone, with a full and varied entertainment programme and a lively disco. The Roman town of Frajus is 4km away, with its broad sandy beach, bars and restaurants. Traffic from the nearby motorway can be heard.
Domaine de la Yole at Valras Plage, Languedoc
With a sandy beach a short walk away and a smart pool complex on site, this park is perfect for a family holiday. Domaine de la Yole is a large, lively site, just one and a half miles from Valras Plage, and ideal for families with younger children. The site has 2 pools in a nicely landscaped area. The park benefits from some shading by poplar trees which provides welcome shade during the hottest parts of the day. There is a large bar with terrace, a popular place for rounding off the day.

Esterel at St Raphael, Cote d'Azur
This first rate, steeply terraced park with its ochre buildings blends into the scenery so well that when you first set eyes on the glorious swimming pools, they create a quite startling contrast. The heated, jungle themed children's pool is not to be missed. Esterel really is a perfect holiday location, with an excellent restaurant and disco on the park and a night club and golf courses close by. The Esterel hills, with their wooded slopes and pink outcrops, are also truly breathtaking. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers, with many superb walks, from gentle strolls to robust hikes. For more sophisticated pleasures, you are also just a couple of miles drive through a wooded valley to Agay, with its pavement cafes and sandy beach.
La Sirene at Argeles-sur-Mer, Languedoc
La Sirene is located just north of Argeles-sur-Mer which is famed for its five mile stretch of golden sand. This is a large family park that has lots of activities to keep the whole family busy including a large tropical pool complex. Scuba diving lessons are available in the pool, windsurfing, tennis, mini golf and even a free bus service to the beach. As you would expect most evenings are often spent in the open air bar, which is also the venue for regular late night cabaret and karaoke throughout the season. While beyond the park, you will enjoy the spectacular Pyrenees that form the dramatic backdrop to the spacious, sandy beaches and the park itself.
Cala Gogo at St Cyprien, Languedoc
A pleasant French atmosphere awaits you at the Cala Gogo park. It is a spacious park which is ideal for a lively family holiday. The site has an attractive swimming pool complex which can even accommodate scuba-diving lessons in high season. For older children there is a games room on site and a regular disco. You can relax at the bar and eat in the excellent restaurant in the evenings. Cala Gogo is just 1.5 kilometres from St Cyprien and 26 kilometres south of Perpignan.
Club Farret at Vias Plage, Languedoc
Club Farret is a part of the Yelloh Village chain of campsites. A family run park, it offers everything that you would wish for in a sun and sand holiday, with plenty to do for the whole family. Set close to a long stretch of golden sandy beach this is a lively site with some great facilities. A lagoon style pool complex is a real suntrap, surrounded as it is by palms and shrubs. Children are well catered for with their own separate pool and seven playgrounds. For older children and adults there are also a wide range of sports activities ranging from table tennis to archery. Le Farret benefits from direct access to a wonderful sandy Mediterranean beach and the site's excellent restaurant and pirate-themed bar facilities have more than enough to entertain you for the duration of your stay, however if you can tear yourself away from the park a short 500m walk will take you directly into Vias Plage with its lively bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Holiday Marina at Port Grimaud, Cote d'Azur
Holiday Marina is a small, modern campsite just 900m from the beach and set on the banks of the River Giscle. The campsite is set in a wonderful location within walking distance of picturesque Port Grimaud. The site has a spacious swimming pool with a separate pool for children, plus a jacuzzi. There is also a fantastic bar terrace which overlooks the pool and marina. Children will love the large play area while teenagers will never get bored with the sporting activities including football, basketball and archery.
