La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
This park is defiantly for you if you enjoy activities as there is so much to do there will be little time for sitting and relaxing. There are however 2 bars and a restaurant as well as plenty of space to sit around the pool if you want a break from all the excitement. The children have a play area; club with organised activities and even their own disco. Park run sports tournaments; basketball; badminton; climbing wall and archery will give the older children something to think about and a 16+ disco just for good measure. There are family discos during July and August. Sightseeing has not been left from the list of things connected with this busy park with Cannes only 16 miles; St Tropez 22 miles and Nice 40 miles.
Le Ranc Davaine at St Alban, Ardeche
At St. Alban there are two inviting swimming pools and a children's pool, with a covered pool complex, as well as tennis and mini-golf, plus activities like archery and horse riding in high season. Canoeing on the lovely River Chassezac close by is an added bonus. And at the end of the day, you can also relax over a drink in the pleasant bar. St. Alban is a lightly shaded park that enjoys a stunning setting and offers plenty to do for even the most active of families. Dunes et Soleil at Marseillan-Plage, Languedoc
In the sunny South of France, Dunes et Soleil's beachside location makes it a highly popular holiday park. The golden, sandy beach which can be directly accessed from the Park is perfect for lazy sunbathing and/or swimming in the sea. With the beach so close the park does not have a swimming pool but it does have a splash and paddling pool to keep younger children entertained. There is a relatively simple snack bar and takeaway on the park but with the lively town centre of Marseillan Plage a few minutes? walk away there are plenty of catering options close by.
Yelloh Village la Petite Camargue at Aigues-Mortes, Languedoc
While the site is quiet in low season, this is a lively site in July and August that makes a great location for a family holiday. There are excellent facilities for the whole family here, including a large swimming pool (complete with shallow area for toddlers), plus a range of activities, including horse riding, bike hire and tennis. The pitches are partially shaded by tall trees, relax here with a good book, or enjoy a cooling drink at the bar terrace which overlooks the pool. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant before watching the organised entertainment. Teenagers especially will enjoy the nightly disco.
