Les Lacs du Verdon is a Provencal holiday park that is perfect for an activty family holiday. This is a large parc situated in a 225 acre park of oak trees and fragrant scrubland. Le Ranc Davaine at St Alban, Ardeche

Holiday Green at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Holiday Green is a well maintained site with a large Californian pool complex which is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games. It also has a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. To keep the kids happy, a whole range of activities are held throughout the season and there are aqua aerobics, water polo and water volleyball tournament and in July and August swimming lessons, fun water-skiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. The park has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, fitness room, tennis court, boules pitch, archery and mountain biking. There is also free evening entertainment and themed restaurant nights. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.
L'Ardechois at Vallon Pont D'Arc, Ardeche
L'Ardechois is a superbly well equipped park situated alongside one of the loveliest stretches of the Ardeche River. This makes it a perfect spot for swimming and canoeing, not to mention the excursions through the magnificent gorges that are such a popular part of the park's activities. Within the park itself, the impressive range of facilities include an attractive pool complex and a poolside bar. To keep the whole family amused, the park entertainment organise sports and fun from mid June, including weekly discos which are held in the open air or the bar. You are also just a short walk from Vallon Pont d'Arc, which is something of a focal point for tourists in this fascinating region.
Cannes Beach at Cannes, Riviera
The town is an internationally renowned resort and jewel of the Cote d'Azur; and is perfect for lazing on the beach, enjoying a spot of shopping or just strolling by the stunning yachts in the port. This park is defiantly for you if you enjoy activities as there is so much to do there will be little time for sitting and relaxing. There are however 2 bars and a restaurant as well as plenty of space to sit around the pool if you want a break from all the excitement. Park run sports tournaments; basketball; badminton; climbing wall and archery will give the older children something to think about and a 16+ disco just for good measure. There are family discos during July and August. Sightseeing has not been left from the list of things connected with this busy park with Cannes only 16 miles; St Tropez 22 miles and Nice 40 miles.
Esterel at St Raphael, Cote d'Azur
This first rate, steeply terraced park with its ochre buildings blends into the scenery so well that when you first set eyes on the glorious swimming pools, they create a quite startling contrast. The heated, jungle themed children's pool is not to be missed. Esterel really is a perfect holiday location, with an excellent restaurant and disco on the park and a night club and golf courses close by. The Esterel hills, with their wooded slopes and pink outcrops, are also truly breathtaking. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers, with many superb walks, from gentle strolls to robust hikes. For more sophisticated pleasures, you are also just a couple of miles drive through a wooded valley to Agay, with its pavement cafes and sandy beach.
Cala Gogo at St Cyprien, Languedoc
A pleasant French atmosphere awaits you at the Cala Gogo park. It is a spacious park which is ideal for a lively family holiday. It really is a site to suit everyone, with a full and varied entertainment programme and a lively disco. The Roman town of Frajus is 4km away, with its broad sandy beach, bars and restaurants. Traffic from the nearby motorway can be heard.
Club Farret at Vias Plage, Languedoc
Club Farret is a part of the Yelloh Village chain of campsites. A family run park, it offers everything that you would wish for in a sun and sand holiday, with plenty to do for the whole family. Set close to a long stretch of golden sandy beach this is a lively site with some great facilities. A lagoon style pool complex is a real suntrap, surrounded as it is by palms and shrubs. Children are well catered for with their own separate pool and seven playgrounds. For older children and adults there are also a wide range of sports activities ranging from table tennis to archery. Le Farret benefits from direct access to a wonderful sandy Mediterranean beach and the site's excellent restaurant and pirate-themed bar facilities have more than enough to entertain you for the duration of your stay, however if you can tear yourself away from the park a short 500m walk will take you directly into Vias Plage with its lively bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
