The park itself is picturesquely situated on a steep hillside close to a beautiful sandy cove. In addition to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, it offers you fine views of the Mediterranean from the bar terrace, a good restaurant, excellent take-away, well-stocked supermarket and two excellent pools. All of the pitches are on terraces, some quite steep, and some with stunning views over the bay of nearby Palamos, and with some enjoying the shade. The superb beach nearby is safely accessible via some quite steep steps and a footbridge over the busy coast road: and there is even a little tractor-train to pick you up around the park and take you down to the footbridge. Yet while everything you need is right here in the park, many people particularly teenagers like to seek out evening entertainment by taking a stroll into the lively and fashionable resort of Playa d'Aro.

Camping Castell Montgri is a well maintained site with superb facilities, located at the base of Rocamura Mountain and arranged in a series of steep terraces up the hillside. At La Torre del Sol, the living is easy, with a private beach and a stylish, strikingly designed cluster of buildings inspired by Roman and Moorish themes - offering cool restaurants shaded from the bright Spanish sunshine, as well as a cinema and theatre.
