There are dozens of activities for kids of all ages, as well as entertainment, centred around the bar-restaurant every night in high season, with the promise that all will be quiet after midnight and the park owner is keen for all rules to be respected for the benefit and comfort of all guests. Beyond the park, Labenne offers endless forest roads and cycle paths; while the town itself has a splendid outdoor market, two petting zoos, as well as the lovely Marais d'Orx nature park.
Ciboure at Ciboure, Gascony
Sheltered in the calmer waters of the St Jean de Luz bay, the water sports and activities here are a degree or two more chilled out than at the larger resorts to the north. Le Val d?Ussel is an impressive natural parc situated in the heart of the Dordgone P?rigord countryside. Le Moulin de Paulhiac has a beautifully restored watermill that welcomes you at the entrance and is a rural park with large grassy pitches set amidst the dappled shade of walnut, oak and apple trees.
