Le Vieux Port at Messanges, Gascony
On the Atlantic coast, Le Vieux Port is close to a magnificent long, sandy beach, backed by sand dunes, which shelves steeply into the lively waves. The park is located in a beautiful pine forest and has some great facilities including a great pool complex with seven pools and excellent waterslides. Out of the pool there is also a lot to do with a fun adventure playground, tennis, table tennis, and all sorts of games and sports events during the busy summer months. The park has it's own grill restaurant and during the summer there is also a weekly barbecue with an occasional disco held in high season. Delightful Bordeaux and bustling Bayonne are also both within easy reach by car and the lakeside resort of Port d'Albret is a short walk away and Messanges is 3 km away.
Moliets 4 Sun at Moliets et Maa, Gascony
The holiday village at Moliets has to be one of your first choices if you're looking for an active family holiday set in tranquil surroundings. At the forest's edge is Moliets-Plage, the 3km wide beach resort, developed sensitively, and with great charm. This park is nestled amongst acres of the famous Landaise Forests. La Palombiere at Sarlat, Dordogne
This well maintained park is set in rolling hills in unspoilt countryside this is a highly rated park by visitors. The shop, bar and restaurant are converted form lovely old farm buildings. The pretty bar terrace overlooks the swimming pool area, waterslides, tennis court, and spacious play area. Much of the accommodation can be found on pitches shaded by mature oak trees.

Saint Avit Loisirs at Le Bugue, Dordogne
Set in beautiful woodland with fabulous views of the Dordogne countryside, St Avit Loisirs is one of the premier parks in the region and holds 5 red tents from the Michelin guide. The buildings are of beautiful honey-coloured stone where you'll find a shop, bar with a large terrace overlooking the pool and a restaurant serving local specialities. The modern facilities include a swimming pool complex, tropical-style indoor pool, crazy river and jacuzzi. Six kilometres away is the busy town of Le Bugue.

The delightful bar and restaurant overlook a well equipped and spacious play area and the quaint town of Biscarosse with its bars, shops and nightlife only a short drive away. If you're bringing a boat, the small port will moor it for a small fee for the duration of your stay.
Le Moulin de Paulhiac at Daglan, Dordogne

Domaine d'Oleron at Ile d'Oleron, Royan
