Soleil Plage at Vitrac, Dordogne
Soleil Plage enjoys a superb setting that is perfect for a family holiday, lying on the banks of the gently flowing Dordogne. It has two small beaches, both situated on one of the loveliest stretches of the river, which are favourite spots for both swimming and canoeing. The park itself offers you an excellent heated pool complex, with waterslides for the children and a Jacuzzi for you to laze in. And at the end of the day, you'll find that the excellent restaurant, which is just one of the amenities housed in converted Parigordin farm buildings, makes for a wonderful evening. You are also perfectly situated for visiting the famous sights here. Sarlat is only a short drive from the park and the beautiful riverside towns of La Roque-Gageac and Beynac are both accessible by road or river.
Camping Interlude at Ile de Re, Royan

Le Port de Limeuil at Limeuil, Dordogne
When you're seeking a really quiet and relaxing holiday, you'll find Le Port de Limeuil very much to your taste. Domaine de la Rive at Biscarosse, Gascony
This park is nestled amongst acres of the famous Landaise Forests. Apart from boasting one of the best lakeside beaches in the South West and being awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, the owner has created a superb water park, which is being expanded to include a wave pool, jacuzzi, spa and massage water beds, all under a retractable dome roof. If you can tear yourself away from this, then you can indulge in a spot of tennis, archery or petanque. The delightful bar and restaurant overlook a well equipped and spacious play area and the quaint town of Biscarosse with its bars, shops and nightlife only a short drive away.
Le Val d'Ussel at Proissans, Dordogne
Le Val d?Ussel is an impressive natural parc situated in the heart of the Dordgone P?rigord countryside. The park has a superb heated swimming complex that includes a family swimming pool, waterfalls, a toddler pool as well as plenty of room for everyone to relax poolside. The oak beamed bar and excellent restaurant at Camping les Granges is housed in old ivy clad buildings; in total contrast to the superb modern pool complex with its swimming pools and three water chutes. The bar terrace, overlooking the pool, is an ideal spot for listening to live music in high season and for sipping one of the delicious cocktails on offer. The active can hire a bicycle or put on their boots to explore the many walking and cycling routes.

About 900m away, you can learn to surf and body board in the spectacular Atlantic waves.
