Situated in 42 acres of natural landscaped grounds, this parc is ideal for a fun family holiday. With swimming pools, mini farm and playground, there is plenty to keep the young ones entertained. The pool especially is a real winner, with its natural beach surrounding the pool?s lagoon-shaped contours.?And for the water enthusiasts, the beach nearby offers a wide variety of watersports. You can also hire bikes and explore the local area, with its colourful markets, shops and the kids will love spending time at La Palmyre Zoo. There is also a little train that stops outside the parc, which will take you to the centre of La Palmyre, the lovely sandy beach and to other local attractions. Due to its location, some road noise can be heard.

It has three pools in an excellent complex which is the park's centrepiece and the facilities here are good all round, with tennis as well as a children's play area. There is also a charming and reasonably priced restaurant which is so good it's even enjoyed by the locals, despite the presence of many first rate alternatives nearby. Pitches here are on a series of terraces, some with views over the idyllic countryside that surrounds the park and the rural setting also offers many delightful walks amongst the patchwork woods and fields.

It has two small beaches, both situated on one of the loveliest stretches of the river, which are favourite spots for both swimming and canoeing. On the Atlantic coast, Le Vieux Port is close to a magnificent long, sandy beach, backed by sand dunes, which shelves steeply into the lively waves. The park is located in a beautiful pine forest and has some great facilities including a great pool complex with seven pools and excellent waterslides. Out of the pool there is also a lot to do with a fun adventure playground, tennis, table tennis, and all sorts of games and sports events during the busy summer months. The park has it's own grill restaurant and during the summer there is also a weekly barbecue with an occasional disco held in high season. Delightful Bordeaux and bustling Bayonne are also both within easy reach by car and the lakeside resort of Port d'Albret is a short walk away and Messanges is 3 km away.

Surrounded by lush green countryside the park enjoys plenty of shade from established trees and even has its own charming little lake, which is a popular spot for fishing. And as well as all the other attractions of the Dordogne, both Salignac and Sarlat are just a short drive away.
