La Yole is one of the most popular sites in the region. It is located just two miles from the beach of Les Mouettes in a restful setting and family atmosphere. There are a number of pools including an indoor pool, water-slide, paddling pool and play area - lots to entertain all the family. The restaurant, offers a varied menu, and pleasant bar overlook the swimming pools. Evening entertainment, held at the bar can get quite lively during high season and may be heard from some parts of the site.

Yelloh! Village la For?t, tucked away from the bustle of Les Sables d?Olonne amidst rolling meadowland, is a small site set in the grounds of a ch?teau. The campsite facilities are set in converted buildings in the courtyard ? the bar is housed in the old stables, while the restaurant with open fire and oak-beamed ceiling is in an ivy-clad outhouse. Head through the stone archway into the ch?teau gardens and to the two covered pools beyond. Here you?ll find plenty of space to relax, plus a fun water slide for the children. There is also a football pitch, badminton court and playground. Keen fishermen can unwind in peace at one of the three lakes, settling down for a spot of carp and roach fishing in idyllic surroundings.

For those who want to explore there are many cycle paths around the island, or Ile de Re can be reached via a toll bridge. Not far from the town of La Tranche-sur-Mer, Camping Bel is a small site and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is nearby and is typical of the great beaches in the area and is perfect for swimming, windsurfing or just simply relaxing. The site has a number of shaded pitches and the facilities are very well maintained. There is a nice pool with a sun terrace. For those that are more energetic, the sports facilities include half tennis courts and an outdoor fitness course.

A short stroll takes you to a beautiful sandy beach or you can explore the woods and dunes along the coast. This site is three quarters of a mile from Merlin Plage, and four miles from St Jean-de-Monts.

The pool complex covers all the bases with water slides; children's pool; jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool there is something for every one who likes water. For those who prefer the salty version the beach is a short walk and is great for jumping waves, body boarding or relaxing in the sun. There is an extensive programme of activities supplied by the Al Fresco children's club as well as the on site facilities including children's playground; tennis; table tennis and football/volleyball pitch. Off site there are plenty of things to keep you occupied with bike hire around the corner; Atlantic Toboggan water park a short drive away to the picturesque town of St Giles Croix De Vie; the wonderful promenade at St Jean de Monts with a fantastic long beach, cafes, bars and shops all within a short drive. A little further away you will find the zoo at Sables which is worth a visit.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

The pool area has a lovely sunbathing terrace and is the ideal place to laze in the sun while the children enjoy the heated pools. The long sandy beach is just a short walk away and there are a number of other beaches close by. The site is also not far from the busy seaside town of St. Jean-de-Monts to which has an excellent range of restaurants. The resort of Notre-Dame-de-Monts is also just a few kilometres away.

In a very popular family area, this excellent park is regarded as one of the best in the Vendee. It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. The park runs entertainment throughout the season and there are many local restaurants close by.

There is much to see here the Ile de Penotte, a picturesque old quarter in the town centre with pedestrian alleys and facades decorated with shells by a local artist, not to mention the La Chaume quarter, where the city originated, the fishermen's district, with the Place Sainte Anne and its magnificent trompe l'il fresco. And don't miss the delicious food market or fishing port where you can find fish at its freshest. The historical theme park, Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou is also just 92km away. Located in the Vendee, a region famous for its long sandy beaches, close to Les Sables d'Olonne, Residence L'Estran is a hotel and residence located between the Puits d'Enfer, a deep cleft in the cliff into which the sea comes crashing at high tide, and the town centre. The swimming pool faces the sea and the sandy beaches are just 2km away. There are many activities available locally too such as golf and water sports. There is something for everyone.
