Le Pin Parasol is situated in?gorgeous woodland on the banks of Lake Jaunay, where fishing, canoeing and pedaloing are popular with the parc guests. The site itself is immaculate and boasts a great swimming pool with giant waterslides, a tennis court and large play areas. Overlooking the complex is the bright and attractive bar area, housed in a white washed, terracotta tiled building typical of the Vendee. In a very popular family area, this excellent park is regarded as one of the best in the Vendee. It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). The focal point of this modern park is the swimming complex that has outdoor and indoor pools, heated pools, jacuzzi and slides/chutes. There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. The park runs entertainment throughout the season and there are many local restaurants close by.

La Yole is one of the most popular sites in the region. It is located just two miles from the beach of Les Mouettes in a restful setting and family atmosphere. There are a number of pools including an indoor pool, water-slide, paddling pool and play area - lots to entertain all the family. The restaurant, offers a varied menu, and pleasant bar overlook the swimming pools. Evening entertainment, held at the bar can get quite lively during high season and may be heard from some parts of the site.

There is much to see here the Ile de Penotte, a picturesque old quarter in the town centre with pedestrian alleys and facades decorated with shells by a local artist, not to mention the La Chaume quarter, where the city originated, the fishermen's district, with the Place Sainte Anne and its magnificent trompe l'il fresco. And don't miss the delicious food market or fishing port where you can find fish at its freshest. The historical theme park, Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou is also just 92km away. Located in the Vendee, a region famous for its long sandy beaches, close to Les Sables d'Olonne, Residence L'Estran is a hotel and residence located between the Puits d'Enfer, a deep cleft in the cliff into which the sea comes crashing at high tide, and the town centre. The swimming pool faces the sea and the sandy beaches are just 2km away. There are many activities available locally too such as golf and water sports. There is something for everyone.

The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. And should you just want to explore, you'll find that the whole area is covered with fragrant pine forests.

La Garangeoire is without a doubt one of the most prestigious members of the Castels chain. It offers you a breathtakingly beautiful setting amongst woods, meadows and lakes, yet still manages to be just a 15 minute drive from the superb Vendee beaches. The estate contains generous, mainly un-shaded pitches and you are welcome to explore a number of delightful well marked walks. The Camping Sol-a-Gogo is a well kept park with direct access to a superb beach. Just a short stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes, the park has a fantastic swimming pool complex with water chutes, waterslides and a covered pool. A very well maintained park, including bar and a lively entertainment programme in high season. Some noise may be heard from the local road. The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

Not far from the town of La Tranche-sur-Mer, Camping Bel is a small site and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is nearby and is typical of the great beaches in the area and is perfect for swimming, windsurfing or just simply relaxing. The site has a number of shaded pitches and the facilities are very well maintained. There is a nice pool with a sun terrace. For those that are more energetic, the sports facilities include half tennis courts and an outdoor fitness course.

Yelloh! Village la For?t, tucked away from the bustle of Les Sables d?Olonne amidst rolling meadowland, is a small site set in the grounds of a ch?teau. The campsite facilities are set in converted buildings in the courtyard ? the bar is housed in the old stables, while the restaurant with open fire and oak-beamed ceiling is in an ivy-clad outhouse. Head through the stone archway into the ch?teau gardens and to the two covered pools beyond. Here you?ll find plenty of space to relax, plus a fun water slide for the children. There is also a football pitch, badminton court and playground. Keen fishermen can unwind in peace at one of the three lakes, settling down for a spot of carp and roach fishing in idyllic surroundings.
Bel at La Tranche-sur-Mer

Situated in the delightful little town of La Tranche, Bel is a quiet family run park. While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small water slide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. It is also just 500m from the longest south-facing beach in the Vendee, where you can swim and sunbathe, before trying a spot of windsurfing on the 'marine lake'. The lovely town of La Tranche is right on the doorstep too, with its floral gardens, and wide choice of cafes and restaurants. A water park, which is payable, with indoor and outdoor pools is just 300m from the park.
