Located at the entrance to Camping le Clarys Plage are the feature waterslides and jacuzzi, fountains and bridges, as well as a separate covered pool and a paddling pool for the children. The bar terrace overlooks the pool area, providing an excellent spot to relax with a cool drink, and is the venue for the evening entertainment that takes place regularly throughout the season. There is a pizzeria on site, but no shop or restaurant, however there is a supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). Situated in the delightful little town of La Tranche, Bel is a quiet family run park. While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small water slide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. It is also just 500m from the longest south-facing beach in the Vendee, where you can swim and sunbathe, before trying a spot of windsurfing on the 'marine lake'. The lovely town of La Tranche is right on the doorstep too, with its floral gardens, and wide choice of cafes and restaurants. A water park, which is payable, with indoor and outdoor pools is just 300m from the park.

Although just a 15 minute drive from the Vendee beaches, the park is set in breathtakingly beautiful woods, meadows and lakes. Just a short stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes, the park has a fantastic swimming pool complex with water chutes, waterslides and a covered pool. In high summer the park entertainers organise a range of family activities including regular discos in the bar. Some noise may be heard from the local road. The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

Not far from the town of La Tranche-sur-Mer, Camping Bel is a small site and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is nearby and is typical of the great beaches in the area and is perfect for swimming, windsurfing or just simply relaxing. The site has a number of shaded pitches and the facilities are very well maintained. There is a nice pool with a sun terrace. For those that are more energetic, the sports facilities include half tennis courts and an outdoor fitness course.

For those who prefer the salty version the beach is a short walk and is great for jumping waves, body boarding or relaxing in the sun. There is an extensive programme of activities supplied by the Al Fresco children's club as well as the on site facilities including children's playground; tennis; table tennis and football/volleyball pitch. Off site there are plenty of things to keep you occupied with bike hire around the corner; Atlantic Toboggan water park a short drive away to the picturesque town of St Giles Croix De Vie; the wonderful promenade at St Jean de Monts with a fantastic long beach, cafes, bars and shops all within a short drive. A little further away you will find the zoo at Sables which is worth a visit.

The area is popular with cyclists and hikers and there are lots of picturesque trails that take you through the local area where you can enjoy beaches and woodland parks.

In the evening, you can have a relaxing drink in the bar, which is also the scene of regular family discos in high season, or perhaps enjoy a meal in the equally pleasant restaurant. There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.

Le Littoral at Sables d'Olonne

Le Littoral is just a mile from the nearest beach with gently sloping sands. The park has a popular outdoor and covered pool. The park bar is the centre for daily entertainment in high season. The site is a short path walk from a rocky cove where children are able to spend hours searching for shell fish. In high season you can take the free bus service which runs all day long between the campsite, the beach and the famous resort of Les Sables d'Olonne.

The park is located in a quiet area of St. Georges D'Oleron with good access to the many cyclist-only roads that run around the island. The 'Plaisance' beach offers a broad sweep of golden sand and the unusual sight of Fort Boyard close by. Out and about, you are just 1km from the Saumonards forest, and you will find the town itself to be a quaint little place, dedicated to fishing and the oyster industry.
