It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). The focal point of this modern park is the swimming complex that has outdoor and indoor pools, heated pools, jacuzzi and slides/chutes. There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. Situated in the delightful little town of La Tranche, Bel is a quiet family run park. While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small water slide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. It is also just 500m from the longest south-facing beach in the Vendee, where you can swim and sunbathe, before trying a spot of windsurfing on the 'marine lake'. The lovely town of La Tranche is right on the doorstep too, with its floral gardens, and wide choice of cafes and restaurants. A water park, which is payable, with indoor and outdoor pools is just 300m from the park.

The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce.
