Providing the perfect setting for drinks and meals the excellent restaurant, bar and pizzeria overlooks the lake, the park also has two good pools, including a children's pool. Set alongside an olive grove, this is a superb park for enjoying the lake; bathe in its cool waters or simply relax and soak up the sun. A short drive away you will San Felice del Benaco or if you prefer 'Gardaland', a superb fun park which is ideal for the whole family is a little further to drive.
Ville Degli Uliviv at Elba, Corsica

Ville Degli Ulivi is for you if you love the beach and water sports with the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean on its doorstep. There's even a diving school, where equipment can be hired and boat trips booked to the island's many diving sites. On the park there is an excellent pool complex including watersides but if you prefer the shade most pitches have fragrant olive and pines trees along with colourful flowers. In high season there is entertainment for all the family to enjoy with a typical Italian atmosphere. Off the park the small working harbour of Marina di Campo is well worth visiting, and if you drive to the mountains you can enjoy superb views of the island.
Rio Vantone at Lake Idro, Italian Lakes
An ideal place for relaxing or as a base for exploring the countryside and nearby towns this park is located on Lake Idro, one of the smaller Italian lakes, west of Lake Garda, and offers superb views of the surrounding area. As motorboats are not permitted the lake it is perfect for windsurfing or swimming. Just 1km away you will find the small town of Crone or you can use the park's own restaurant, bar and shop. East of Idro is an enormous natural area that extends right to the western shores of Lake Garda; and to the North of the lake is the mountainous province of Trentino or Alt'Adige.

Park Albatros is one of Tuscany's largest parks, spread over 30 delightful acres. The park is surrounded by the Maremma pine forest, which itself faces out onto the sparkling water. The park also offers a bazaar, pizzeria, supermarket and bar, but for those who wish to go out and about, Piombino is just 15kms south of the park, with its narrow streets and harbour.

Rosselba le Palme enjoys a unique setting, nestling as it does amidst endlessly beautiful parkland full of rare, exotic palms and olive trees. Built overlooking the colourful harbour of Portoferraio, the park's steep and mainly terraced pitches are reasonably small, but facilities here are excellent and include a superb swimming pool complex with waterslide as well as tennis, table tennis and a lively animation programme in high season. Across from the park there is a small, clean beach, where you can sunbathe, swim or windsurf. Inland you will discover endless vine-covered hillsides, olive groves and picturesque, unspoilt villages. A visit to the lovely port of Marciana Marina is also highly recommended.
I Pini at Rome, Tuscany

For using as a base to visit Rome, or simply to relax by the pool, I Pini is an ideal park. A twice daily bus service direct into Rome allows you to visit the Pantheon, the Coliseum, and the many other historical landmarks or; you may prefer to take one of the numerous coach trips organised by the park's very friendly English speaking owners. After a busy day of exploring the woodland surrounding the park by foot, mountain bike or horseback; you can retire to the park's restaurant for a glass of the excellent local wine with your meal. The owners are very keen to make your stay enjoyable and will gladly arrange transfer from airport to park.

A small manmade beach on the lakeside is close by and Peschiera has many Renaissance buildings and gardens and is a short walk from the park. From there Verona is a 25 minute train journey.

At the heart of the site is a wonderful pool complex with two swimming pools, one with a waterslide, plus separate children's pool and jacuzzi. The site runs an excellent entertainment programme including sports competitions, cabaret shows and live music, especially popular with older children and teenagers. The ancient city of Rome is easily accessible by public transport, and there is a long, sandy beach just a short drive away.

The park has its own private rocky beach reached via a pathway. Activities such as football and volleyball are available, and even supervised deep sea diving at the beach of the nearby charming coastal town of San Vito lo Capo. This town is famous for its annual couscous festival in mid September and nearby are the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the hamlet of Scopello, where scenes from the film Ocean's Twelve were filmed. We would recommend that you hire a car if you wish to explore further a field than San Vito Lo Capo. The park offers a bar, pizzeria, children's playground, mini market and a large swimming pool, filled with clear blue water from the Mediterranean.
Marina di Venezia at Punta Sabbioni, Adriatic Coast
The swimming pool complex is very popular and contains an Olympic-sized swimming pool, large children's pool and water slides. Bars, restaurants and shops are situated along the promenade some distance from the holiday accommodation, there really is something for everyone. From the beginning of June, the park entertainment organises a variety of activities with evening entertainment for all the family. With many pitches situated in beautiful woodland, this is a great place to relax, as well as offering plenty of activities for the more energetic. The park's stunning beach has direct access and there is a convenient bus link to Punta Sabbioni, where you can take a boat to Venice.
La Rocca at Del Garda, Italian Lakes
With boats as frequent as buses you can relax and enjoy the magnificent sights with someone else doing the work. The campsite has a lovely open feel with pleasant, grassy pitches. There's also plenty to do on site with tennis courts, table tennis and swimming pools for all the family, as well as organised activities during the high season. The pebbly lake beach is ideal to soak up the sun or try out canoeing. The nearby villages of Moniga and Manerba are really most attractive but the regular boat trips available from nearby Desenzano are definitely the best way to see most of the pretty lakeside villages.

You are spoilt for choice as to where to swim on this park. With the superb pool complex including a hydro massage spa it may be difficult to decide whether to use the on park facilities or the clear waters of Lake Garda; there is direct access to the lake with its pebbled beach and tree-lines shore. Zocco is ideally situated for enjoying the Italian atmosphere with views of the delightful town of Sirmione across the lake. There are plenty of open grassy spaces for children to play on and some shaded pitches; in high season it may be necessary to park away from your pitch. A short walk away there is an open-air disco for older children to enjoy; however some noise can be heard at night.
