Here the children can play safely, build sand castles, splash around, or hire a pedalo. The pitches are shaded by pine and birch trees, but you may prefer to laze on the sun terrace by one of the pools (two of which are for children) or enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi. During the evening in high season, the site arranges discos and live shows, but for a special night out, take the waterbus to Venice and have a romantic dinner in St Marks Square.

One is opposite the bar and restaurant and comprises no less than six pools, while the other complex is in an attractive pine wood setting to the rear of the park. There is also a busy programme of activities for all ages during high summer, and of course the superb beach. The long, sandy beach is accessed directly from the park, and you can hire a pedalo, swim or simply soak up the sun. When you feel like a break from the warm sands and cooling water, the many delights of Venice are within easy reach by boat.

With the superb pool complex including a hydro massage spa it may be difficult to decide whether to use the on park facilities or the clear waters of Lake Garda; there is direct access to the lake with its pebbled beach and tree-lines shore. Zocco is ideally situated for enjoying the Italian atmosphere with views of the delightful town of Sirmione across the lake. There are plenty of open grassy spaces for children to play on and some shaded pitches; in high season it may be necessary to park away from your pitch. A short walk away there is an open-air disco for older children to enjoy; however some noise can be heard at night.

Just outside the small village of Cisano di Bardolino you will find this attractive park on the shores of Lake Garda. Set back from the lake the park shares facilities with Cisano, an adjacent park, including a lakeside beach, access via an underpass. SanVito has a small pool, but Cisano has a large pool complex, restaurant and bar which are available for your use. From mid May a lively animation programme provides games and competitions for all the family as well as fortnightly outdoor discos.

The fantastic pool complex offers two swimming pools, a children's pool and two small waterslides. The grassy pitches are ideal for relaxing with a cooling glass of local wine. There is plenty to keep the whole family amused, including sports activities organised by the campsite staff. Head to the lakeside beach (direct access from site) and enjoy canoeing, water skiing or windsurfing, before relaxing over a meal at the welcoming restaurant. The site is split by two roads, with an underpass and roadside attendants for pedestrians.

This attractive park on the eastern shores of Lake Garda is situated just outside the small village of Cisano di Bardolino to the north of the old Venetian port of Lazise. San Vito is set just away from the lake but shares facilities, including a lakeside beach, with adjacent Cisano; access via an underpass. A welcoming and friendly park which has the advantage of generally grassy emplacements on both sites, with holiday homes on San Vito and canvas on Cisano. San Vito has a small pool, but most facilities, including a larger pool complex, restaurant and bar, are on Cisano. There's a lively animation programme from mid-May when games and competitions are on offer for all the family as well as fortnightly outdoor discotheques.

With a first-class restaurant on a terrace that overlooks the pool complex, the friendly owners have provided excellent amenities. A great place for an evening stroll is the small medieval village of Castagneto Carducci which is a short distance inland, where you can sample their famous ice cream. It is possible enjoy some of the region's other delights including the Etruscan wine trail and the famous cities of Siena, Pisa and Florence due to the park's ideal location.
