With the superb pool complex including a hydro massage spa it may be difficult to decide whether to use the on park facilities or the clear waters of Lake Garda; there is direct access to the lake with its pebbled beach and tree-lines shore. Zocco is ideally situated for enjoying the Italian atmosphere with views of the delightful town of Sirmione across the lake. There are plenty of open grassy spaces for children to play on and some shaded pitches; in high season it may be necessary to park away from your pitch. A short walk away there is an open-air disco for older children to enjoy; however some noise can be heard at night.

The ideal place for sunshine and swimming Ca'Savio offers two pool complexes; please note they are closed during siesta. One is opposite the bar and restaurant and comprises no less than six pools, while the other complex is in an attractive pine wood setting to the rear of the park. There is also a busy programme of activities for all ages during high summer, and of course the superb beach. The long, sandy beach is accessed directly from the park, and you can hire a pedalo, swim or simply soak up the sun. A great place for an evening stroll is the small medieval village of Castagneto Carducci which is a short distance inland, where you can sample their famous ice cream. It is possible enjoy some of the region's other delights including the Etruscan wine trail and the famous cities of Siena, Pisa and Florence due to the park's ideal location.

This town is famous for its annual couscous festival in mid September and nearby are the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the hamlet of Scopello, where scenes from the film Ocean's Twelve were filmed.
