The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

Run by enthusiastic owners, the park offers a wide range of organised children's activities, sports tournaments, bicycle tours and walks. It also features a lovely pool with some shade and a great waterslide. Its greatest attraction though is the choice of two safe sandy beaches, both just a short, safe stroll away. There is also an excellent bar, restaurant, and crêperie, from which you can watch the children playing on the beach, or look out further to the bright sails of the windsurfers beyond. See it just once and you'll understand why Brittany's soft, sandy beaches are such a popular destination for families.

Chateau de Galinee is a family run 'Castels' park offering well maintained modern facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. And should you just want to explore, you'll find that the whole area is covered with fragrant pine forests.

L'Atlantique is just 3km from the small seaside resort of Beg-Meil, with a beautiful setting next to a nature reserve. Just a short stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes, the park has a fantastic swimming pool complex with water chutes, waterslides and a covered pool. The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.

Situated in Normandy, La Vallee has a glorious rural setting and is not far from a sandy beach and the Edwardian seaside town of Houlgate. Most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded; the park is looked after to a high standard with mature trees and shrubs enhancing the area. Les Mouettes offers a fantastic pool complex including a lazy river and magnificent slides and planned for 2010 is a covered pool. Morlaix is worth visiting with its pretty setting along a river estuary and its old, cobbled shopping streets.

La Yole is one of the most popular sites in the region. It is located just two miles from the beach of Les Mouettes in a restful setting and family atmosphere. There are a number of pools including an indoor pool, water-slide, paddling pool and play area - lots to entertain all the family. The restaurant, offers a varied menu, and pleasant bar overlook the swimming pools. Evening entertainment, held at the bar can get quite lively during high season and may be heard from some parts of the site.
