The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. Le Ranolien is really quite stunning. Colourful hedges and trees blend into the pink granite boulders of the coastline, which allows for some highly individual pitches, as well as easy access to nearby beaches. The owners are continually investing in park facilities, including a mini-cinema and there is a magnificent pool complex which features an impressive array of outdoor pools and water-slides, including a covered, heated pool that's available throughout the season. Away from the site there is an excellent choice of beaches ranging from rocky inlets to sandy coves. Some traffic noise can be heard from certain parts of the park.

La Plage is a most pretty park, with direct accessto the beach. It is neatly divided by trees and hedges and set amidst the well-kept gardens of an old Breton farmhouse. All sorts of activities are organised for children in high summer and older ones can also join in the fun at occasional concerts in the bar. Beyond the park, La Trinite-sur-Mer, originally a small fishing port, is now an important centre for the yachting fraternity and also has a popular market.
