The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

This is a beautifully landscaped site, with emplacements set amongst majestic pine trees and giant boulders. An old Breton barn houses the popular restaurant and creperie which offers a tremendous choice of crepes and locally brewed cider. Take a walk along the Smugglers Path which runs for miles along the coast and offers superb views and beaches.

Adults are well catered for, with a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including massage, sauna, hydro-massage and Turkish bath. Customers staying in early summer for 3 days or more get 1 free session. There's a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a large, clean lake with sandy beach, canoes and pedalos, you won't want to leave the park. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte, you are still within easy reach of many of the Loire's most elegant chateaux.

The facilities on site are superb and include a fantastic pool complex, which offers an outdoor pool with a large sun terrace, waterslides and jacuzzi, as well as a heated indoor pool. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment in the campsite bar or take one of the excursions to local attractions, such as the picturesque port of Pornic and the island nature reserve of Ile de Re. Please note that some noise from a nearby road may be heard from some of the pitches.

Camping la Grenouillere is set in countryside close to the banks of the Loire, this Castels site has a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a quiet holiday. The large pitches are positioned in both wooded and open areas. At the centre of the site is a rustic chateau surrounded by a moat, which houses a cosy bar and restaurant with a patio area overlooking the pool. The tropical pool complex offers three pools, bridges, slides and water chutes. Theres also a covered pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna. The sporting activities here are excellent. The energetic can enjoy floodlit tennis, volleyball, archery and football, while the more sedate can spend an afternoon fishing at the chateau moat.
