It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). Le Mane Guernehue is a family-run site, one and a half miles from Baden and near to the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan. Excellent facilities, although at the top of a fairly steep hill, include a swimming pool with waterslides,jacuzzi, sauna, bar and restaurant. The family will enjoy relaxing at the south facing beaches or exploring the rock pools and coves just four miles away at ÃŽle aux Moines. During July and August the campsite staff organise daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family.

With spacious grounds set in peaceful wooded surroundings, this is an ideal venue for families with young children. The park has excellent facilities including a great pool complex with waterslides, a lazy river, a covered pool and a spacious sun terrace. An indoor spa, jaccuzi and Turkish bath with massage are available. The restaurant, take-away and shop have all been built of local oak to blend in with the surroundings. Located at the entrance to Camping le Clarys Plage are the feature waterslides and jacuzzi, fountains and bridges, as well as a separate covered pool and a paddling pool for the children. The bar terrace overlooks the pool area, providing an excellent spot to relax with a cool drink, and is the venue for the evening entertainment that takes place regularly throughout the season. There is a pizzeria on site, but no shop or restaurant, however there is a supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

Perhaps the most notable things about this excellent modern park are its large, spacious pitches, some of which are surrounded by hedges to offer privacy. The pool complex features both a water chute and a four lane waterslide, with a new covered pool planned for 2010. If you're feeling more energetic, you can try a game of tennis, volleyball or even basketball, and in high summer the park owners organise evening entertainment in the bar, which overlooks the newly extended pool. Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover. You could also make the short drive to the village of Nevez, with its small selection of shops and bars.

Enjoying a peaceful location in the grounds of a lovely old manor house, the park has been developed by the friendly owners to a very high standard, with excellent facilities, especially for young families. The superb pool complex has two pools, one with a lazy river, toboggans and a retractable roof over one of the pools. There is an indoor Spa and Jacuzzi with a Hammam (Turkish bath) and massage available. The park is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire River is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chateaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.
