Les Ormes also offers you an extensive range of good facilities, together with an even more impressive range of activities. The park is extremely pretty, in a lovely setting close to a small village and is also perfectly placed for sightseeing. The Loire River is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many chateaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover. You could also make the short drive to the village of Nevez, with its small selection of shops and bars.
